Welcome to Underdogs Gymnastics!
Our Underdogs gymnastics program is perfect for you if you currently follow class or another training program, but want a more specific progression to improve your gymnastics movements.
It is an add-on style program for anyone looking to make measurable progress in gymnastics technique and capacity as a stand alone goal or in addition to your current training regimen.
The program will consist of 4-5 sessions per week, with each day following it’s own progression for a specific skill over the length of a 6-8 week cycle before rotating in new skills.
It will include sessions for:
- Bar Gymnastics
- Ring Gymnastics
- Handstand Push-ups + HS Walking
- Rope Climbs
- and more!
F.A.Q:
Should I do this at the beginning or end of my session?
Depending on your workout for the day, you could perform your gymnastics work at the beginning or end of the session. In most cases, for skill acquisition and development we recommend completing your sessions while fresh, but for building capacity you could choose either the beginning or end.
Do I have to complete all of the days?
Nope! Each day is built to be an independent progression for a different skill. You could choose 2-3 to prioritize or do all 5!
What if I miss a week in the progression?
For best results, we’d suggest going back to the previous week and continuing your linear plan. However, if that sounds like more trouble than it’s worth, nothing bad will happen if you move on to the next week - just manage expectations accordingly!
