Build brute strength. Stay race-ready. Dominate the sled.
HYROX Strongman is a 3–4 day per week training cycle designed to develop raw power using kettlebells, sandbags, sleds, carries, and classic strongman-style lifts - while still maintaining the conditioning needed for HYROX competition.
This program blends heavy barbell strength work (push press, deadlift, squat progressions) with strength-endurance overload sets and strongman-specific conditioning. You’ll train upper body power, lower body power, and full-body capacity every week, building the kind of durability that carries directly over to sled pushes, sled drags, carries, and race-day fatigue.
Expect:
This cycle is built to make you harder to break. The goal isn’t just to lift heavy - it’s to move heavy weight under fatigue and keep your heart rate under control while doing it.
If you struggle with sleds, carries, or maintaining power late in a race, this program addresses those weaknesses directly. You’ll build strength that transfers to performance, not just numbers in the gym.
Train strong. Move heavy. Show up powerful.
