This program contains both the Classic Track and the Compete Track and is the most comprehensive, detailed and valuable training you can find at this price point.
This training is created and tested by Taylor Self and Bryson Delmonte with over 20,000 hours of coaching experience, both in affiliate and online.
Taylor and Bryson both hold CrossFit Level 3 certifications, CrossFit Gymnastics certificates, CrossFit Weightlifting certificates, numerous CEUs and experience coaching, competing and training with the best CrossFit athletes in the world. Here is a brief description of both tracks offered as a part of Sentinel Training.
Classic Track:
45-75 minutes of training consisting of a workout and either a lift, skill development or accessory. Athletes will note this program is rooted in the core methodology while remaining creative, innovative and engaging. Athletes will develop their work capacity across broad time and modal domains while experiencing a high degree of structured variance in order to capitalize on transfer of skill. Athletes will notice a 4 week progression structure from spring through winter, with an "open phase" style of training from mid winter through early spring. This program contains extensive modification options, substitutes and a master's prescriptions segment in the notes. Bryson and Taylor actively take questions and videos for coaching review for ALL Sentinel Training subscribers. This program is structured around the CrossFit Open, using The Open as our generally accepted, community based, benchmark test of fitness.
Compete Track:
120-180 minutes of training consisting of a strength piece, two workouts and an accessory five out of seven week days, with a 6th, low impact, optional conditioning day. Athletes will train on a 4 week progression structure with a 1 week back off between progressions. These remain varied, unique and creative to drive linear progress while also prioritizing the transfer of skill that makes CrossFit so potent. This program is a general physical preparedness program for athletes looking to break into the CrossFit Semifinal or Games level. This program will increase work capacity across broad time and modal domains - choosing to work on incremental gains across all ten general physical skills rather than an extreme bias towards some at the expense of others. This is the BEST way to increase fitness in the context of CrossFit and the CrossFit Games Season. Athletes will train in an "Open Phase" style of training from mid winter through early spring as a 2-3 month block outside of the standard 4 week on/1 week off progressions.
Athletes get BOTH programs, a stellar community AND coaching from REAL CrossFit Level 3 trainers for 20 dollars a month.
